Understanding sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities.
Tashapa Consultancy is pleased to invite you and members of your executive team to The Sustainability Advantage: From Compliance to Organisational Prosperity, a six-part online webinar series designed specifically for Zimbabwean C-suite executives, Board-level leaders and Sustainability leads.
Sustainability is increasingly shaping governance, strategy, risk, access to capital, resilience and long-term value. For Category 1 entities, the preparation period for IFRS S1 and S2 implementation also makes this an important time to build capability, strengthen systems and decide how sustainability will be embedded into the organisation.
Rather than treating sustainability as a stand-alone reporting exercise, the series will introduce Tashapa's Road to Organisational Prosperity Through Sustainability.
Across six webinars, we will explore:
- Sustainability Awareness: understanding sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities.
- Sustainability & ESG Reporting: IFRS S1/S2, GRI/ESRS and credible, decision-useful reporting.
- Sustainability Costing & Appraisal: determining the costs, returns and trade-offs of sustainability decisions.
- Sustainable Finance: aligning capital with sustainability and long-term value.
- MESGIRO: Managing Environmental, Social & Governance Impacts, Risks & Opportunities.
- Net Zero: moving from emissions measurement to targets, transition planning and resilience.
Each session will run for 60 minutes: a focused 30-minute executive briefing followed by 30 minutes of live Q&A.
The emphasis will be practical: what senior leaders need to understand, what questions they should ask, and what actions organisations can take next.
The series will be facilitated by Professor Ven Tauringana, Professor of Accounting & Sustainability at the University of Southampton Business School (UK), IFRS FSA Credential Holder, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, GRI Certified ESRS Sustainability Professional, Chartered Environmentalist and Full Member of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals.
